Julia A. Sullivan
At the family home, 83 Stowe street, Lowville, Tuesday morning occurred the death of Julia A. Sullivan. The deceased was the youngest daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Sullivan, and was born in Martinsburg, June 3, 1855. The greater part of her life was spent in Lowville, where she was educated, and for many years taught in the village schools. She was a devoted member of St. Peter's church and the societies connected therewith. Always active and willing to lend a helping hand, she won a host of friends who will sincerely mourn her passing. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Conway and Mrs. Margaret O'Neil, of Lowville; Mrs. Catherine O'Keefe, of Birmingham, Ala., and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the family home Friday morning at 9 o'clock, and from St. Peter's church at 9:30. Interment will be made in the family plot at Rural cemetery.
